16th Church Anniversary & Thanksgiving

Visitors from across the Greater Toronto Area eagerly flocked to the sanctuary as excitement builds for the much anticipated 16th Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving of the Toronto local church. Guests were met with a warm welcome from the ushers. The guests were seated and waited with great expectations to see how God has blessed the Church over the years.

As worship service was about to begin, the church was filled with both members and guests shouting “praise God!” as they witnessed how the church began to fill with worshippers. By God’s grace, the Toronto locale has experienced a dramatic increase in the number of worshippers – overflowing the capacity of the church.

The 1st and 2nd level were filled with people eagerly waiting to hear the words of God. Additional seats had to be brought in by the ushers – who filled all open isles with chairs. Those in attendence were so many that some brethren had to listen to the message from the next room. In additional this, there were over 15 viewers from across Canada who joined in to watch the live online webcasting of this event. God has truly blessed His church!

In a fitting address, Pastor Belle Obsanga, explained how the 4th watch church had been a source of infinite spiritual blessings and pointed out how the members had been blessed abundantly over the past decade. Rightly so, this year’s theme was entitled “joyfully thanking God for the grace of the partnership in the Gospel” rooted in Philippians 1:5-6.

The message began with a reminder of the humble beginnings of the Church and how unlike many, the pioneers of the 4th watch church whole-heartedly gave their life to God and His Church. Pastor Belle reminded the congregation that without God partnership none of this would be possible.
It is only by God’s grace that the 16th church anniversary was a success. Guest from all nationalities and backgrounds were filled with joy as they were touched by the message. The most joyous part of it all were the visitors who filled the stage and who faithfully accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. They were baptized that very day and went home with God’s assurance with them. To God be all the glory.
